Savannah Antiques & Architecture Weekend
The Savannah Antiques and Architecture Weekend , SAAW, was created in 2017 by The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of Georgia (NSCDA-GA), a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. The Weekend promotes interest in historic preservation and our nation’s history through informative and enjoyable educational events.
We used UI / UX strategy to develop their new website to target their audience. We also made sure to make the website faster than it was before to be compatible with their hosting service.
The original website was outdated built in 2016 and running on wordpress version 4.6. The website would freeze and was pretty much impossible for them to update with all the bloat and outdated plugins and themes.
We looked at what the issues was based on the hosting capability they were using. They were low tier hosting so they could not take a ton of server resources.
We did a straight simple website that was easy to read and straight to the point with ticket purchases. The WordPress is light weight to not put strain on the server resources required.
